2023 was an eventful year. Despite market conditions and everything that happened in web3, we kept growing and #buidling, providing plenty of changes and updates to our platforms and community.2023 is long gone now, and our attention is fixed on what we can conquer in the next 12 months.In this article, we’ll share a brief overview of the roadmap for 2024 at LayerX, providing insights on the strategic initiatives, product developments and pivotal areas of focus that will drive our company forward and help us keep building a strong and engaged community within the web3 ecosystem.You can always watch the full LayerX Roadmap Talk on Youtube right here:<iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mARFq8y6mnk?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen class="fr-draggable"></iframe> Let’s go! <h3>Founders’ vision for 2024</h3>Last year was a difficult year for many companies in the tech industry, but fortunately that was not the case for LayerX, because 2023 was the year of building a strong foundation for what we expect to be a great year for the company.In 2024, we expect to see more companies both growing and being born on the current pre-bull market, which will pave the way for growth in 3 pivotal areas that we want to focus on this year: TAIKAI – the major goal will be to reach more organizations, launch more hackathons, and drive higher adoption of our hackathon platform. We expect to achieve this both by working with the leading companies in the blockchain ecosystem space that are already working with us, such as Starkware, iExec, AlephZero, but also by establishing new deals. On a community level, which remains as a priority for LayerX, ETH events and other web3-related events will be fundamental to pursue the goals we have for TAIKAI and to keep growing our existing community. Bepro – the focus will be to keep bringing more people and organizations in to use the platform which was completely revamped and improved during Q4 of 2023. 2023 showed us that having tasks opened for people to work on brings more people able to solve them and collaborate on the platform. Creating synergies with TAIKAI and bringing in the builders that enroll on hackathons to the Bepro Network will enable the company to improve the results achieved in 2023 and onboarding more organizations that wish to use the platform.  TAIKAI Garden – we’ve recently launched the <a href="https://www.mexc.com/support/articles/17827791512995" target="_blank">TKAI token in a crypto exchange</a> which represents a significant milestone in the grand roadmap that we’ve created for TAIKAI and the TAIKAI Garden. This year will bring many more developments and progress towards accomplishing the vision we have for the TAIKAI Garden, which is to become a dynamic platform where all of LayerX’s products interact with each other.Now, let’s go deeper into the specific actions planned for each business area, with an emphasis on Product development, which is the cornerstone of LayerX’s business.  <h3>What to expect from Product Development</h3><h4>TAIKAI</h4>The hackathon platform is LayerX’s most matured product, but 2024 will bring significant updates and improvements to it. Some of these features will be shared between TAIKAI and the TAIKAI Garden, and for that reason these will be the first ones to be released:<ul><li>Support for multiple wallets, expanding beyond Meta Mask;</li><li>Project comments that will allow users to engage in discussions, replies, reviews, etc;</li><li>Project feed that will display a timeline of all activities related to projects created on TAIKAI, using a specific algorithm;</li><li>Possibility of following users and other projects to stay updated about them.</li></ul> <h4>TAIKAI Garden</h4>One of our major goals for 2024 is to bring the projects created in hackathons to life and give them the opportunity to develop and grow into a business – this is the vision for the TAIKAI Garden. The TAIKAI veToken, an integral part of the Seed project creation process, will also be integrated into the Garden, providing voting powers and enabling users to serve as mentors and validators.Q3 – The focus will be exclusively on the sprints that a project will undergo within the farming process, as well as on the voting process for each sprint. During these votes, the community determines whether a project can remain in the farming phase and validates if it is fulfilling its proposed objectives to gain access to the next sprint.Q4 – The goal will be to provide validation updates for each project through a dispute mechanism. This means that the community will be able to vote on whether an update is valid or not. Firstly, the addition of multi-language support and multiple wallet compatibility will enable Bepro to cater to a wider audience. Both newcomers and existing users of the platform will then be able to enjoy a more seamless experience through onboarding tutorials, task filtering, and notification features. Besides builders, organizations will also benefit from a more flexible and improved user experience with the new improvements concerning the Marketplace management. Finally, the profile integration with TAIKAI will facilitate bringing more hackathon participants to Bepro and grow the builder community within the LayerX ecosystem. <h3>What to expect from Business Development, Marketing and Design</h3>BD, Marketing, and Design are business areas that will undergo significant developments and efforts to support the company's growth. These departments will play integral roles in enhancing brand visibility, expanding market reach, and improving the product experience.<h4> </h4><h4>Marketing</h4>LayerX is committed to fostering the sustained growth of builders and organizations within our ecosystem. In pursuit of this goal, we will continue producing high-quality educational content to help builders enhance their skills and knowledge in blockchain. Additionally, we'll work on establishing partnerships and collaborating with KOL builders to amplify our reach and influence, benefiting both our community and the LayerX brand by bringing in valuable expertise and insights from outside our community. <h4>Design</h4>In 2024, LayerX will release its design system publicly and share more insights with the community about the Design process happening behind the scenes, fostering greater engagement with the community.As always, we will continue to enhance the experience and interfaces of our core products to provide users with the best experience possible and establish a robust design infrastructure for the upcoming TAIKAI Garden. <h4>Business Development</h4>From a business level, LayerX is gearing up for an exciting year ahead. The focus will be to host even more hackathons, bringing in more participants and revitalizing partnerships with ETH events.
