Introducing Points: complete quests, earn points, and get rewards!

This month we introduced Points, a new gamification system to reward all our community members for their participation and achievements within the LayerX ecosystem. 

By completing various Quests at TAIKAI and Bepro, you can earn Points, which can then be swapped for awesome prizes and exclusive offers, making your experience with @taikainetwork and @bepronet even more fun and rewarding!

To give you a head start, we’ve launched a special campaign where you can earn triple points (x3) after completing certain Quests. But that’s not all: we’ve also launched a new Galxe campaign where you can mint your special Mx. X NFT to celebrate the launch of Points!

A sneak peek into the hackathon that bridges Rootstock, Bitcoin, and Solidity

We’ve hosted a new episode of LayerX Talks, this time featuring Olia Dukova, Director of Developer Experience, and Sam Golden, Director of Brand and Communications, from Rootstock, the first open-source smart contract platform secured by the Bitcoin network.

The episode kicked off the Bitcoin Meets Solidity Hackathon and shared exclusive information about this event, where builders have the opportunity to contribute to the Bitcoin ecosystem!

TAIKAI

Partnership with Talent Protocol

This month, we announced an important partnership that makes us really proud!

TAIKAI is now a proud partner of Talent Protocol, a pioneering web3 platform that is redefining professional networking through blockchain technology. By integrating TAIKAI's Proof of Participation (PoPs) with Talent Protocol, builders will be able to authentically showcase their skills and achievements on the blockchain.

We launched Hackathon Hangouts with MultiversX

May was the month when we launched a new project called “Hackathon Hangouts.” This initiative is designed to bring together organizers of leading hackathons, providing them with a platform to share insights and previews with our community. For builders, this is their chance to get a firsthand look at what to expect, from prize structures to potential networking opportunities and the technologies they will encounter during hackathons.

In this first episode, we welcomed none other than the MultiversX team, who shared an exclusive look into their upcoming hackathon, highlighting the challenges they have planned and the impressive prizes up for grabs.
