We’re always in touch with listing partners to seek opportunities to improve BEPRO and TKAI liquidity and adoption. As usual, we can’t reveal details, but we’re also waiting for better market conditions to make more interesting moves on this spectrum.

Recognition is definitely something that LayerX continues to work toward, but it’s important to remember that building an ecosystem takes time and consistent effort. We’ve been laying the groundwork for some time, focusing on delivering value through innovative solutions and strategic partnerships. What we’re seeing this year is the beginning of that recognition, as our work is resonating more within the community. Feedback from peers and partners has been positive, but the key is to stay proactive—engaging with the space, learning, iterating, and always pushing forward. Success in the long run is about continually cultivating relationships and refining our value proposition.

We are moving steadily towards realizing our grand vision: becoming the central hub for the next generation of developers. A place where they can connect, share experiences, learn, experiment, and find the perfect environment to launch tech projects that have the potential to grow into successful businesses. We are building the main foundations with the TAIKAI hackathon platform, Bepro, and now the TAIKAI Garden.
Hélder Vasconcelos, CTO
We can’t give away too much just yet, or we’d spoil all the fun - but we’re excited about what’s in store. Recently, we’ve teamed up with great partners like ICP Hub, expanding into new regions, and Storacha Network, focusing on decentralized data solutions. Looking ahead, we’re planning collaborations around key events during Devcon, and we’re in talks with web2 companies that work closely with the EU Commission, as well as others with a focus on AI. We’re also nearing a potential deal with a government body in Southeast Asia—so there’s a lot to look forward to.
Henrique Silva, Head of Business Development
We have been talking with our current and possible future partners about TAIKAI Garden. Sharing our structure, what they can expect as well as all the opportunities that will unlock for their ecosystems. The feedback has been great as the TAIKAI Garden will help a lot when it comes to actually following and assisting the path of all of these builders. We’ve been also taking into consideration a lot of suggestions to improve it even more. However, the real deal will be when TAIKAI Garden is fully launched. Then, we will have a new way to collaborate and enhance the relation we have with our partners as well as opening new possibilities in all of these ecosystems.
Henrique Silva, Head of Business Development
Yes, we are in touch with some of the biggest names in both the web3 and web2 worlds. There’s no shortage of talent or resources available, but we’re conscious of the need to build a solid foundation first. You can think of it as constructing a house—you can’t start with the roof. While mentorship and funding will come, right now, we’re focused on laying down the groundwork. We’re making sure TAIKAI Garden has the right infrastructure and partnerships in place to support that growth when the time is right.
Mário Alves, CEO
We’re expecting to roll out some amazing features for the TAIKAI Garden by the end of 2024, including a Project details page, Project updates, comments, project teams, and a Garden feed. We will also launch the builders & mentors lists feature, stake and unstake $TKAI, and a transactions history feature. We’re working full steam on the Garden, and this is just the start. If you want to be a part of this journey, join our beta test!
Henrique Macedo, Head of Development
As everyone says, the best marketing is done by word of mouth. So, we’ve taken this into effect and focused a lot on these partnerships, because they also bring a lot of good things for both sides: more hackers for the events; more sponsors that can participate in several events of this nature, including more visibility for us as the platform of choice; more brand awareness and validation that we have the perfect tool. We have been super supportive, not only on the platform side of things but with marketing, our physical presence at the events, and also helped to brainstorm the entire hackathon experience. This opportunity also allows these specific partners to have a reliable platform to use and a common group of people who are open to sharing their feedback with the ones who don’t yet work with us.
Henrique Silva, Head of Business Development
Yes, non-technical participants can definitely get involved in the TAIKAI Garden. You can contribute by providing funding, offering mentorship, staking TKAIs to support the ecosystem's growth, earning Points, and engaging in other ways that help nurture and develop projects within the Garden. There's something for everyone to participate in and contribute to the community’s success.
Carlos Mendes, Head of Marketing
The market hasn’t treated us as favorably as we initially hoped, but as always, Bepro is ahead of its time. We believe in the vision, and although some plans may take longer to materialize, we’re committed to seeing them through. Patience and perseverance are key here. We are continuing to work toward collaborations with developer communities, and while timelines may adjust, we’re confident that with persistence, the adoption of Bepro will happen at the right moment.
Mário Alves, CEO at LayerX
We are analyzing the product metrics to clarify the direction we want to take. Over the last two years, we introduced numerous changes, improvements, and features, and now it’s crucial to assess what has been effective and how it has improved the overall user experience. With the product reaching a solid level of maturity, our focus is now on driving user adoption and refining any experience barriers they may encounter.
Hélder Vasconcelos, CTO
At this time, we don't have any short-term plans to reintegrate Bepro staking with an increased APY for Bepro Tokens but we are always open to exploring opportunities that provide value to our community. We’ll continue to assess the market conditions to understand the next best moves and ensure that any future decisions align with the long-term growth and interests of our community.
